• Print content is identical to the ebook’s, except the images are high-quality grayscale to keep the book affordable. Color versions of images are available for viewing or download (Dropbox). 

• We work with several ebook firms because each has relationships with different sets of bookstores and offers inclusive access arrangements. VitalSource provisions Barnes & Noble College First Day. Follett ACCESS uses a mix of Redshelf (up to summer 2025) and Kortext (Fall 20205 onward).

• VitalSource is available worldwide, but does not have a digital storefront in every country. If you are located in a country without a dedicated storefront, choose the storefront closest to you (which may be US or Canada) and enter a state and postal code for that country. The order should be processed regardless of the values entered for the state and postal code.

Instructors can request digital or print desk copies if they are considering adopting the text for their course.

• Order via phone (1-800-247-6553 ex 3) or email (orders@btpubservices.com) for standard terms (e.g., discount/wholesale rates, invoicing, returns, buyer shipping accounts). Web orders are only for direct-to-consumer copies.

• Bookstores may need to create a new account for Eider Press because that is how BTPS invoices the order; this is occasionally a source of confusion!

• Note that BTPS is separate from Baker & Taylor Library Services; this is also sometimes a source of confusion.

• BTPS can ship anywhere in the world.

• Redshelf uses ISBN 9780971764767. VitalSource acquired Redshelf in 2025; new campus-wide licences and IA should use VitalSource. Redshelf primarily serves the US and Canada but seems to be broadly available elsewhere

• Follett (including Follett ACCESS) works with Kortext and uses ISBN 9780971764781. Available worldwide.
